v1.3.0-rc.2
Released: June 9, 2026
The second release candidate on the 1.3 track. This cut adds a quick keyboard shortcut to filter by resource kind, drag-and-drop reordering for presets, and richer graph queries for connected AI assistants — plus a round of fixes for the Kubernetes drilldown. Install from the kunobi-unstable channel to try it; the stable track is unchanged.
What's New
- Filter by resource kind with
:— type:in the filter bar to jump straight to filtering a list by a specific resource kind, without reaching for the mouse. - Reorder presets by dragging — saved presets can now be rearranged with drag-and-drop, so your most-used views sit exactly where you want them.
Improvements
- Richer graph queries for AI assistants — the MCP graph tools introduced in rc.1 now return provenance metadata and support pagination, and a new discovery tool lets a connected AI agent inspect the available resource types and relationships before it queries them.
Bug Fixes
- Drilldown actions follow the active tab — context-specific conditions on the Kubernetes and Flux drilldown now key off the tab you're actually viewing, so the right actions show up in the right place.
- Preset sort and column visibility stick on the K8s drilldown — the sort order and visible columns from a preset are restored again on the Kubernetes drilldown instead of being reset.
- Event tables sort by most recent first — Kubernetes event tables now default to sorting by last-seen time, newest at the top, so the latest activity is immediately visible.
- Breadcrumb clicks land on the right level — clicking a segment in the Kubernetes drilldown breadcrumb now navigates to the correct level instead of an adjacent one.
Installation
This is an unstable release. To try it on Homebrew or winget, use the unstable identifiers:
brew install --cask kunobi-unstable
winget install kunobi-ninja.kunobi.Unstable
Existing installs on the stable channel are unaffected. You can also log in and download the unstable build directly, or update from within an existing unstable install.
